Vintage Mexican children's poncho. Embroidered sun, siesta, cacti, house donkeys.

The previous owner believes this to be a handcrafted tourist item from Mexico from the mid 60's. She was a child and doesn't recall exactly when but knows the family went there when she was very young.
The embroidery and tassels appear to be nylon.
Note some embroidery is loose - bottom emblem yellow on right. There are also a few spots - front just behind heels of boy and to the left of knees by edge.
The length is 38", collar to point is 17" excluding tassels.
Made for a small child or toddler.
