    Description

This listing is for a vintage late 70's-early 80's pair of GRATTON 'super eb' climbing shoes or boots that were made in france (fronteer is making a copy of this shoe today but this one is TRUE vintage)
Shoes don't look like were worn very much, but they did make
    several
ascents on White Horse, Catherdral and Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire and the  Shawangunks in NY. All stitching and rubber is intact. Writing on the inside bottom of the sole is still legible. A few of the shoelace metal
    eyelets are oxidized
Shoes are marked as a size 5. This is european mens sizing since
    women's
specific climbing shoes weren't made in that era. I wear a women's 8 or Euro 39 shoe so please go by the measurements below and compare them to climbing shoes that you currently wear to decide if these will fit if you.
Color of the boots is navy blue canvas with ivory canvas twill trim and gray suede leather
top of the boot to the bottom of the sole measures 15 cm
bottom edge of toe to edge of heel measured along the sole is 24.5 cm
width of the ball of the foot is 7.5 cm between edges
Item comes from a smoke free home
