VINTAGE DEDHAM POTTERY WITH CHESTNUT DESIGN
8 1/2” PLATE  ca. 1896 –1928
I am offering for bid this vintage Dedham pottery 8 1/2" shallow
plate with the chestnut design
.
The plate is ca. 1896-1928.  On
the back of the plate is the Dedham embossed rabbit mark and
a little blue color from the blue stamp remains.  The plate is in
very good condition for its age. There a chip on the back rim
but close inspection indicates it is probably a manufacturer's flaw.
On front rim there is a small chip of blue paint that has chipped off.
I have taken closeup photos of these so please check photos
for condition and other details.
