This Newly Made Huipil wasHand Woven on a Back strap Loom by
Concha Meza Pérez. This is a traditional Huipil
from the Tzotzil community of Tenejapa in Chiapas Mexico.
The dyes used in this Wool and Cotton Huipil are
all Natural.
The sides are unstitched
so it can be worn in the traditional manner, or with a more modern style, like a poncho (see 1st photo).
This heavy weight cotton measures
30
inches across (total 60 inches around) and 30 inches Long, and will fit a Medium to an 2XL size
woman.
