    Description

The Shipiba rattle is a percussion musical instrument used in Peruvian healing rituals. It is the Shipiba rattle. In them, the healer sings songs called icaros. The sound of the rattle directs the energy of traditional infusions administered to patients.
Made with a hard-shelled berry, the Shipiba rattle is distinguished by the figures engraved on its surface. It is usually adorned with colorful feathers and, in some cases, with seeds.
