Hand Embroidered in Gold Silk Threads on a Dark Purple color 100% Cotton / Manta Fabric
in the
Zapotec
Community of
Yalalag in
Oaxaca Mexico.  There are
four vertical rows of flowers
running up
both the front and back and sides
of this Dress.
Unmarried women from Yalalag wear the Huipiles with floral embroidery
like this one.  This tunic style of dress would also make a great
Beach Cover
for an upcoming vacation...
It measures;  29 1/2 inches across (total 59 inches around) and 42 inches Long and
will fit a Medium to 2XL size woman.
