This is a early piece of Hugh Robertson pottery when he used stickers obviously lost in time before he scribed his name on his pottery bottoms.
According to the Fireworks book of New England Art Pottery stickers were used by him for a short time.
It is also rumoured that he died at a
early
age

developement
according
to
rumours
.
Hugh C. Robertson's pottery was or became the  predecessor of Chelsea Keramics Arts Works pottery of Chelsea Massachusetts. The Fireworks book has an example of this same shape and ceramic type in the Fireworks Pottery New England Art Pottery book.
CKAW was the frst pottery company in America calling themselves an art pottery in America. Huge was as important to the American Art Pottery
