The transmitter couples as a splitter as it is equipped with an HDMI out port for connection to a local display for monitoring and cascading HDMI signal being passed to a distant area. Provides convenience of knowing what is showing on the display that is connected to the receiver side in a separate room.
IR Remote allows the user to control the source from the source and display side for added convenience
Important Notes
A good quality CAT5e/6/7 cable is essential in delivering quality content. CAT6/6a/7 is recommended over CAT5e
We recommend using high performance pure COPPER gofanco CAT6 cables to ensure reliable performance: Search CAT6UTP-100(B07PB3R8BK)/CAT6UTP-150(B07P6TDMLH).
Please use an HDMI 2.0 cable for HDMI 2.0 source and display devices.
Use a straight-through Ethernet cable and NOT crossover
This kit is point to point and comes with a Transmitter and Receiver. It’s not meant to work through routers or network switches
If you want HDR you need to be using an HDR supported display!
Not capable of downscaling to 720p or 480p and cannot process 4K HDR content to scale with 1080p (ONLY 4K to 1080p scaling)
