Elegant Evening Bag / Clutch Hand Woven Shades of Mauve Larrainzar Mayan Chiapas

I just returned from Chiapas where I purchase found this Elegant Evening Bag / Clutch. It was
all hand woven by Tzotzil Mayan women of San Andrés Larrainzar.
This piece was hand woven on a
back strap loom
and hand woven with traditional images from
Mayan culture.  There is a magnetic clasp for
closure
and
lovely
tassels on the front flap.
It measures;  6 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long... there is a magnetic Clasp on the flap.
It
is a lovely color combination of
Shades of Mauve,
and is a
nice size for when you only need to carry your phone, some cash and a credit card and some lipstick...
This is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art, and is a very reasonable price for the amount of work that has gone into creating it!
