This is a handwoven Ecuadorian Otavaleño loom work versatile lightweight open front poncho shawl wrap decorated with large fringe on the bottom and made from a cotton Alpaca wool blend which is heavier on the cotton and decorated with geometric designs and which was collected from the artisan market in Otavalo, Ecuador, South America. This hand woven fabric loom work textile poncho like shawl is soft and snuggly and measures 30.50 inches long from the top of the shawl from the top of the shoulder area to the bottom of the shawl (not including the fringe in the measurement) by 48 inches across. This shawl was made to hanging in a draping fashion and have the front thrown across the body like a wrap or worn left hanging open. Great condition but this is a handmade item and has an exposed string from the looming process.This Ecuadorian Otavaleño loom work shawl is brand new and is reversible having the woven designs on both the turquoise blue outside and the inside with the inside having the predominant color of black but the shawl is shinier on the outside and a tad less shiny on the inside. Very colorful.
