Michoacán where i purchased this amazing dress.
This is a Win Win scenario. You get to own a beautiful
handwoven and hand embroidered Dress by Purepecha Indian
women who live on the edge of lake
Patzcuaro in Michoacan
, and help support these peoples save their cultural heritage and traditions.
This is a one-web huipil
"huanengo" or "guanengo"
from Michoacán, Mexico.
The Front and back are identical...
It has been
hand embroidered (cross Stitch) in
Gold Color
threads on Black hand woven fabric!  This 100% Cotton fabric is very soft, you will not be disappointed in the Huanengo.
It measures 24 inches armpit to armpit (48 inches all around) and 46 inches Long. This dress will fit a Medium to Large size woman.
Hand Wash
separately, dry flat, press with a cool iron.
