This item is a large rabbit figurine. He (or she) is named “Lei Lani”.
This rabbit figurine has all the classic characteristics of original Dedham Pottery—the crackle glaze, deep blue color, and charming arts & crafts design. There is a wonderful leaf and curling vine hand painted decoration around the bunny’s neck, which you can see in the photos.
This figurine measures nearly 7 ½” to the top of the higher ear, and is 13 1/2” from end to end.
The Lei Lani figurine is marked on the back of her left rear leg.
The mark reads "HT * USA 96 BN8". The bottom is covered in green felt. Condition is perfect.
