    Description

c1910-1920 Rare Dedham Pottery Bird in Potted Orange Dinner Plate 10 1/8
Presented is a fabulous Dedham Pottery dinner plate. This piece dates to around
1910-1920. This piece is made in the lovely Bird in Potted Orange tree pattern,
featuring designs of birds, perhaps doves, with orange trees, in cobalt blue
against the crackled glaze typical of Dedham work. This is a very desirable
pattern in Dedham pieces, and plates of this size in this pattern are hard to
find today. A  fantastic collector's item for use or display.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is a little wear to the glaze
as you see from plates being stored in a stack, but nothing of any significance.
There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. There are some
irregularities to the glaze here and there as is typical of Dedham pieces, but
that is original to the making of the piece and not a sign of any damage or
    flaw.
The plate is marked on the underside with the impressed underglaze Dedham
    mark.
The plate is about 10 1/8 inches tall.
