Shown here are 2 sets of a Limited Edition collection of Major League Baseball (MLB) postage stamps.
These sets include a total of 17 stamps -- one sheet with 8 stamps and a
rare Limited Edition 9-stamp "error" set
that includes Pete Rose (Rose was removed in a later version of 8 stamps).
The legal tender 30-cent postage stamps date to the late 1980s and were issued by Granada and make for a great collectors item!
The 9-stamp set includes the following players:
- Babe Ruth
- Roberto Clemente
- Pete Rose (removed from the later printed 8-stamp set)
- Cal Ripken Jr
- Bob Feller
- George Bell
- Mark McGwire
- Alvin Davis
- Dan Quisenberry
An official Certificate of Authenticity from the International Collectors Society is included with the stamps and protective plastic casing.
