HERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT LETTERS, BOTH FROM EL DORADO, ARKANSAS. THE FIRST ONE IS ON GEO. MORGAN PONTIAC COMPANY LETTERHEAD AND THE SECOND ONE IS CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, OREN HARRIS, 7th DIST. ARKANSAS. BOTH ARE DATED IN JANUARY OF 1944 AND PERTAIN TO A US ARMY SOLDIER IN THE AIR CORPS TRYING TO GET ASSIGNED AS A MECHANIC WHILE IN THE SERVICE AT CAMP ELLIS IN ILLINOIS. THE PONTIAC LETTER IS SIGNED BY GEORGE E. MORGAN THE COMPANY OWNER AND THE OTHER ONE IS SIGNED BY OREN HARRIS. OTHER THAN BEING FOLDED FOR MAILING AND A LITTLE AGE TONING THEY ARE IN GOOD SHAPE.
